Many thanks goes out to everyone who hunted with us this season! As always it is a real pleasure to hunt with our long time clients and to welcome new ones along the way.

            Our hunts take place in true wilderness- from high alpine meadows to large tracts of dark timber- this is truly my idea of classic elk country.  While hunting here is seldom easy, it is always rewarding.

            We should emphasize that all of our hunts are geared towards the adventurous hunter who is seeking a true wilderness experience.  High altitude, rough terrain, rigorous horseback riding and hiking will tax even the most fit.  We try to make the hunt as enjoyable as possible, but you will need to be in good physical condition to get the most out of these hunts.

A.W.O.L. is a small hands-on outfit and our goal is to provide our clients the best possible service available.  On all of our hunts we keep the camp sizes small in order to offer you a quality experience.  As the outfitter, I will be present on all hunts as one of your guides.
